Alongside the installation of a living room home cinema, the fireplace room and bedroom were to get a TV and sound system upgrade. Two identical 46-inch LG TVs from the property owners’ previous flat, which until now had been standing on a chest of drawers and on a TV table, were envisaged for the two rooms. Here it was necessary to find an elegant TV wall mounting solution that would enable adjustment of the TVs to the respective viewing situation. And allow space creation beneath the TVs. In the end, fully moveable wall brackets were chosen.

A HEOS soundbar (including wireless subwoofer) by Denon was additionally installed in the fireplace room. One reason for choosing this soundbar was that its dimensions matched the width of the LG TV perfectly. By mounting the soundbar right by the TV using a bracket, the overall appearance is one of a single unit (LG TV and soundbar), and the whole thing can be swivelled to the right and left very easily. In addition, two HEOS portable speakers that go with the HEOS soundbar were installed to facilitate multi-room audio.

A further HEOS portable speaker was placed in the bedroom to optimise the TV’s sound. As the owners are big fans of light illuminations, they also treated themselves to RGB LED strips, which were simply connected to a USB port on the TV, and now envelop the room or the wall behind the TV in various colours.
