Successful Premium HDMI Program

Positive interim résumé

We at AVINITY have been taking part in the official Premium HDMI Program for a good year now. The programme was launched by HDMI Licensing LLC, which is responsible for HDMI specifications. Only products that fulfil the stringent quality standards may carry the Premium HDMI logo. It guarantees excellent transmission properties, and is regarded as the most important guideline for consumers looking for connecting cables with state-of-the-art technology.

At this year’s IFA in Berlin, Rob Tobias, CEO of HDMI Licensing LLC, and Carsten M. Bröcker, Avinity Product Manager, met at the stand of the HDMI organisation. On show here was a selection of Avinity cables that, according to Tobias, can be regarded as a successful example of fruitful cooperation based on partnership. In relation to the new HDMI 2.1 standard, whose specification we expect at the end of 2017, Avinity also wants to point the way and be one of the first providers to bring certified cables to market.
